A Great Day!

On Saturday, my uncle Bubba from New Jersey, his friend, Mary Pat and her daughters, Katie and Meagan came over!

Mary Pat had delicious lotion on her legs and I kept licking them as they walked around for a tour of my house.

Katie is 12 and Megan is 15 and they are the best! After the tour, the girls put their bathing suits on and we went outside. Mom got me wet in my pool so I'd be cool. The girls got in the water and soon were floating around on the rafts. Then Katie put her raft close to the edge and I jumped on! She played with me in the water and it was great!

We played in the water for a long time, then went inside for dinner. I forgot to pee outside and went under the table...it was a little embarrassing--but I'm only 6 months old. I was very tired from all the playing and passed out for awhile while they were eating--but did wake up for a bit of chicken salad.

After dinner, Katie and I played some more with my stuffed reindeer. She got me going and I barked at her and licked her toes!

We all hung out for some more fun and then I conked out as soon as they left. It was the best day ever!

More Fun in the Pool!

On Saturday, my neighbors came over to play with me. The first picture is of Layla and me by the pool. We had lots of fun together. She is 4 years old and small, like me. In the second picture, I am trying on Layla's life jacket. Doesn't the color look great on me? The third picture is Beckett diving into the pool. He is very talented!

The three of us played a lot and both Layla and Beckett threw my tennis ball for me to fetch. I fetch really well and return the ball to whomever throws it.

I love when I have friends over!

Swimming Party!

Yesterday, one of my best friends--Red, a Golden Retriever--his parents and their grandsons, 8 and 12 years old, came over to play with me in the pool. But, before I tell you about that adventure, let me tell you about Red.

Red is 6 years old. I met him about 2 months ago, when I was 4 months old and weighed about 8 pounds. Red is gigantic--he weighs 60 pounds! Anyway, he came into the front door and I was so scared that I flew backwards, peeing all over the floor!

Everyone--my parents and Red's--went into the kitchen, but I was too scared of Red to join them. But, they wouldn't leave. So I started to bark! Yeah, I barked at Red for about 15 minutes. Still, nobody paid any attention to me, so finally, I crept into the kitchen. My mommy was petting Red and I couldn't take it any more! So, I slowly walked up to Red and sniffed him. Boy, he smelled good!

Then, his dad took out a tennis ball and gave it to him! Red dropped it and let me pick it up! It was yellow and fit into my mouth if I bit real hard. After he shared his ball with me, we became great friends!

So, I was very excited to see company yesterday. Red and I ran all around the yard and the boys threw tennis balls for us to catch! I ran really fast and kept up to him!

The boys were very nice, but a little scared of me at first. They went into the pool and soon my mom picked me up and put me in the water. See, it was a very hot day and Pugs--especially black ones--get very tired and hot in the heat. So, the pool felt great and gave me lots of energy!

The picture up top is me on the raft!

Nate, the younger brother, had me chasing him at dizzying speeds around the pool and then he'd jump in! It was so much fun!

A great day was had by me!

Editors note: Red barely tolerates Cobi, but because he is a good boy, allows Cobi's antics. Meanwhile, Cobi gazes at Red with admiration and love. Poor thing.
